When Jessica was just six months pregnant, an ultrasound detected that Carter's brain was missing its corpus callosum. We were given the option to abort him, which was never an option for us. Carter was ALIVE and KICKING, for all I knew these doctors could be wrong. They gave us the diagnosis of Agenesis of the Corpus Callosum, Hydrocephaly, and Schizencephaly. After he was born, they told us they were WRONG about the schizencephaly. They told us that he may not play, walk, talk, etc etc. I look at Carter now and praise God for the miracle he is.
