#063 Jorgenson Family - Emmetsburg - February 2013
Our 63rd Family is Josh & Angie Jorgenson from Emmetsburg, their 11-year son Gavin was scheduled to have open heart surgery last week to replace an pulmonary valve in his heart. Gavin had his aortic valve replaced when he was 4 with the hope he would be fine for 15 years. Sadly his pulmonary valve is failing, causing problems with the aortic valve. Surgery was posponed until this week, Feb 21 I believe. The good news is his prognosis is quite good. On February 17, a 40 degree day, 7 bikes and 6 or 7 car loads of people welcomed the Jorgenson's into the Shayla Bee Family of Families.
