#105 Reemtsma Garman Family - Algona - August 2015
15 year old, Kali Garman has was involved in an accident while riding her dirt bike on June 17th. The throttle stuck causing her to hit an SUV on Hwy 18 going 55 mph. Kali suffered from numerous injuries, the worst of which was her leg. The doctors did everything they could but were unable to fix the damage and were forced to amputate below the knee. She spent a month in the hospital, she had another surgery on July 27th and has one scheduled for August 31st. Kali has a long road ahead with therapies and adapting to her new leg.
