#083 McGregor family - Albert City - March 2014
Most of you probably recognize this name. Less than 2 years ago we made a donation to Tricia and Duane McGregor for their daughter, Avery, as our 54th Shayla Bee Family. At this month’s meeting the Shayla Bee Board voted to make a second donation to the McGregor family for their daughter Kimber. Kimber was deprived of blood and oxygen at birth and suffered some brain damage as a result. Kimber has been in the NICU for 3 weeks and they are not sure yet when she will go home but it will likely be a few more weeks. Kimber has been through a lot but due to the immediate care and excellent work from her doctors she is alive and doing much better than expected. The outcome is yet to be seen and will only be known as Kimber grows and develops.
